Frames all started out as a jam then in a few hours turned into a song with lyrics. Totally off the cuff. One of those golden moments of inspirato.
This is the first or second take of me just recording the idea live on guitar and vocals on my Zoom H2. Then I later put it into Ableton Live and added some parts but kept the original recording intact.

Al played drums for The Black Penguins (Mark it Zero and others) and was the first member, after myself (eroctech), of the original TBP lineup. Dave/David Emmert would be the next on Bass.
The three of us recorded "Mark it Zero" the first and last record of this lineup (besides remixes or re-releases). Check it out or "Compilation One" for a nice background into the band.
lyrics
many little pictures
many little frames
many little oceans, of change
many little fountains, and all you’ll see
you will never know the life to be
you say you’re on fire
I believe it when I see it
you say you’re on fire
I believe it when I see it
many little pictures
many little frames
all these memories they never change
time keeps chirping on my window
won’t you come out and play
but all you see is all you’ll ever be
and all you are is now
all you need is in front of you
just like little frames
many little pictures
many little frames
all these memories they remain the same
but you, take your words and you take your silly dreams
and you put em in a frame put em in a frame
and you try to believe they’ll be something to change
but you can’t understand you just look up inside your head
and you wonder why all the people die
but you realize you are human
